- Preparing for your event
- Design: Whether it’s event branding and/or sponsor exposure, we can design your custom Pronto! kiosk artwork along with a full set of badge designs to suit your needs.

Registration Flow: We’ll work with you on the best way forward for your different guest types to get their badges – attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and VIP’s will all be taken into account.

Data Management: We’ll work with you on the best way to manage your data for pre-registrations, late registrations and walk in’s.

Communication: While you’re doing final preparations for the event, let us communicate with your guests via email and/or SMS to ensure they have their QR code ready to go when they arrive.

With its compact and sleek design, the Pronto!Glide delivers high quality badges for any size of venue. We’ve made sure there’s still space for company or sponsor branding, so you can be sure to get a great level of exposure at your event.
As your delegates scan their QR codes they will be presented with their badge gliding down from behind the screen. A truly impressive start to the event experience.

How many Kiosks will we need?
We consider important information such as: - How many attendees will there be?
- When will they be arriving?
- Are they all pre-registered?
- Will there be any walk ins requiring onsite registration?
Each kiosk can print approximately 100 badges per hour so taking this, and the above information into account, we provide each client with a custom quote.
What events are the Kiosks best suited to?
- Our Kiosk solutions are extremely versatile and offer value to a wide range of event types including conferences, expos and corporate meetings.
Can I include my event branding?
Absolutely! Our Design Team will work with you on customised badge designs and any different badge types you need. The kiosk screens will be on brand and we can also provide customised decals for the front of the kiosks – a sponsorship opportunity perhaps?
Who provides the lanyards and pouches?
We can provide both or you can source them yourselves if you prefer. We prefer double clip branded lanyards and you’ll just need A6 pouches.
What happens if we need to reprint a badge?
Often at events someone comes along in the place of another colleague at the last minute. For paid tickets they will need to provide proof of purchase and we can then print their badge. Other changes, such as name or title updates, can be made easily by one of the team.
How easy is it to set up the kiosks?
Easy! We prefer to set up the day before if possible, if not we require 3 – 4 hours before registration kicks off. Clearing away takes 2–3hours.
What connectivity is required for the Pronto Kiosks?
The kiosks require Wifi access to enable continuous data updates. CrowdComms recommend using our Wifi solutions which provide robust redundancy.
How easy are the Kiosks to operate?
Once set up, the kiosks are ready to print! The CrowdComms Team will train your registration team on how the kiosks work. They will oversee the registration period and provide operation maintenance on the kiosks as required, as well as being on hand for any questions that come up.
Are your badges environmentally friendly?
You can be sure that your event check-in process is eco-conscious with the option of badges made from recycled materials. With no need for a plastic pouch, these badges help reduce your event’s impact on the environment

Each option operates using CrowdComms' Kiosk Manager software with offline capabilities, providing efficient queue management, and are guaranteed to get your event off to a great start.
Max Kiosks
Benefits:
- High impact: Get your event off to a great start with our most popular Max kiosks.
- Efficient: On average 150-175 badges printed per hour, per kiosk leveraging the CrowdComms Kiosk Manager software with offline capabilities.
- On demand colour printing: Distinguish different attendee groups with personalised badges.
- Multiple badge stock options available including our recommended sustainable option, our T180 badges.
- The Max range is available for events in the UK, EU and Australia, subject to availability. Our wider range outlined below are available worldwide.
- Large digital display to showcase your brand and sponsors. Supports both static and video backgrounds.
- In addition, branded decals can be applied to the front of the kiosk or full branded wraps as seen in the above.
Considerations:
- Our Max Kiosks make a great impression with their large stature. This requires space and comes with increased logistics costs to transport.
- Due to their size, these require two members of staff to move requiring a team of two from CrowdComms to attend your event. This provides the benefit of team resource to ensure your event registration run seamlessly but comes with a cost. If you are able to provide a dedicated member of your team supporting our onsite resource we can consider one resource. .
Glide Kiosks
Benefits:
- High impact: Get your event off to a great start with our Glide kiosks.
- Efficient: On average 150-175 badges printed per hour, per kiosk leveraging the CrowdComms Kiosk Manager software with offline capabilities.
- On demand colour printing: Distinguish different attendee groups with personalised badges.
- Multiple badge stock options available including our recommended sustainable option, our T180 badges.
- Our Glide Kiosks and Mini Kiosks are stored in the US, UK and Australia and can be transported Worldwide subject to availability.
- Large digital display to showcase your brand and sponsors. Supports both static and video backgrounds.
Considerations:
- Similar to the Max Kiosks, whilst slightly smaller and more manoeuvrable, the Glides are large and require logistics management to and from your venue.
- Due to their size, these require two members of staff to move requiring a team of two from CrowdComms to attend your event. This provides the benefit of team resource to ensure your event registration run seamlessly but comes with a cost. If you are able to provide a dedicated member of your team supporting our onsite resource we can consider one resource.
Mini Kiosks
Benefits:
- High impact: Get your event off to a great start with our Mini kiosks.
- Light weight, easy to move location and lower logistics costs than with the Max and Glide options. Cost effective.
- Only requires one person to manage multiple Mini Kiosks. Cost effective.
- Efficient: On average 150-175 badges printed per hour, per kiosk leveraging the CrowdComms Kiosk Manager software with offline capabilities.
- Multiple badge stock options available including our recommended sustainable option, our T180 badges.
- Our Mini Kiosks are stored in the UK, and can be transported Worldwide subject to availability.
- Digital display to showcase your brand and sponsors. Supports both static and video backgrounds.
Considerations:
- IMPORTANT: Black ink printing only.
- In order to provide full colour badges, CrowdComms pre print the badge stock, leaving name, job title, company etc which is printed on demand on the day.
- If you need different colour schemes per group (Attendees, Speakers, Sponsors), please discuss options with your Account Manager. We can have dedicated Mini Kiosk per group with the relevant pre printed badge stock loaded, or it may be preferable to consider the Max or Glide option.
Table Top Kiosks
Benefits:
- Mid-weight, easier to move location and lower logistics costs than with the Max and Glide options.
- Only requires one person to manage multiple kiosks. Cost effective.
- Efficient: On average 150-175 badges printed per hour, per kiosk leveraging the CrowdComms Kiosk Manager software with offline capabilities.
- Multiple badge stock options available including our recommended sustainable option, our T180 badges.
- Our Table Top Kiosks are stored in the UK, and can be transported Worldwide subject to availability.
- Digital display to showcase your brand and sponsors. Supports both static and video backgrounds.
- On demand colour printing: Distinguish different attendee groups with personalised badges.
Considerations:
- Whilst our Table Top option is as efficient as the wider range, feedback is that it is less visual impressive and lacks the 'theatre' the wider range offer in addition to efficient queue management.
