Triggers

Ways triggers can be used:

  • Award points when user uploads a profile picture
  • Award points when a user responds to a specific question in a poll
  • Award points when a user responds to a poll

I like to use the feature to add a new question at the end of a survey which says "Would you like to receive xx free points for completing the survey" with a Yes / No answer.

It's really handy being able to automatically assign points to users who upload a profile picture. 

If using a trigger to award points, make sure the gamification module which has the leaderboard in you'd like to use has the setting "Share user's game stats for all Gamification modules" enabled in the module settings.
